DGUV performs various tasks through the Hennef and Sankt Augustin sites, including training, qualification, research and consulting and accommodation. Various construction measures are planned for the Sankt Augustin and Hennef sites over the next few years. The buildings in Hennef and Sankt Augustin were built between the late 1970s and mid 1980s, using materials containing asbestos in some cases. The necessity of asbestos removal from both building complexes prompted DGUV to develop holistic concepts for the two locations mentioned, which, in addition to the asbestos issue, also included all other necessary repair, maintenance or modernization work up to drinking water and waste water installations in the respective areas of the location. The current decision situation provides for the renovation of the existing buildings at the Hennef and Sankt Augustin sites. Other options, e.g. based on economic considerations, such as realisation as a new building, are also possible. The implementation of the individual measures takes place primarily in larger sub-projects. In order to be able to implement the upcoming construction tasks at the locations with the required reliability, the DGUV has decided to commission a suitable service provider with the services in the field of pollutant management for the DGUV construction projects in Hennef and Sankt Augustin.The scope of work of the pollutant manager includes in particular the following service stages:- Preparation of inventory registers per site (inventory and initial assessment),- Technical exploration,- Disposal planning/remediation concept,- Remediation monitoring,- The call can also be made after individual service stages and partial services from this.
