ARIES - Equipping the HK subway series with monitors for real-time passenger information.
24 4-car trains (96 coaches) will be equipped and the total procurement will amount to 192 double-sided monitors, which will be installed in the windows of the porches next to the doors. The prerequisite for this is the additional retrofitting of various technical components, such as control units for controlling the monitors and routers and antennas for radio transmission. Inspection before submission of tenders: Before submitting a tender, the tenderers are obliged to take the opportunity to carry out an on-site inspection of the underground carriages in order to prepare the implementation concept required in the performance competition. If several bidders are involved in the award procedure, each bidder will be given a separate appointment: The inspection will take place in week 24.2020 and, if applicable, in week 25.2020. The specific dates will be coordinated by the awarding authority in each case and must be requested in writing by means of a message sent to the bidder cockpit/awarding platform.Due to the current corona situation, an inspection can also be organised "online" (via smartphone, laptop, etc.) Please note that no questions regarding the award procedure itself will be answered during the inspection. These are to be addressed directly to the awarding authority via the awarding platform.
