Description

A system for monitoring the issue and return of workwear, clothing sets and laundry in hospitals is required. The system is to be implemented in the form of a spatial solution. This means that the workwear provided for distribution is kept in a room on open shelves. The shelves required for this are not part of the scope of services. Access to the room should only be possible for authorized persons who have to identify themselves using RFID technology. It must be checked that the user is logged into the system and that he has sufficient credit to remove his clothes. Access to the room must be tamper-proof and safe separation must be ensured when entering. When leaving the room, it must be ensured that textiles carried along are always booked to the person who takes them out of the room. In addition, it must be ensured that even when fresh laundry is fed into the (storage) room, it is recorded with article accuracy, so that correct inventory management of the textiles in the room is possible. In order to take back used workwear, a system is required which also reliably records the clothing handed in and thus offers the possibility of relieving the last user so that the exchange cycle can begin again. To prevent misuse, the return systems must be designed in such a way that only authorized persons can return the goods. For users and operators of the system, a possibility is to be created to be able to query current status information on their own and on stock levels.
