Description

The spectrum of print media ranges from periodically published info flyers to annual reports, sales folders and invitations. The printed advertising materials listed in the service specifications contain the status at the time of the invitation to tender. New print media that have not yet been entered in the service specifications will be supplemented and renegotiated if necessary during the term of the contract. The stated quantities are based on empirical values from the last 5 years. There is no claim that the products specified in the bill of quantities will be called off or ordered from the service provider during the contract period in quantities and quantities. FHG's customers reserve the right to make changes to the specification, e.g. change the type of paper. The service provider is prohibited from making arbitrary decisions regarding the specified specification. Requirements for the print service provider:Soft Skills:Good communication and a mutual exchange of information are important to the clients. Advice on the individual objects and suggestions are welcome and discussed. Thinking along, participating is the motto. Quality control from A to Z is important to FHG's clients. This includes feedback to the customer if something is missing or incomplete, review of PDF files, print acceptance, review of printed matter prior to delivery to the customer, general customer and solution-oriented work and adherence to delivery dates. If photo retouching is necessary, photo data in JPEG, TIFF or EPS formats will be sent to the contractor for retouching in advance. The client sends the retouched photo data back to the client. The contractor shall then be provided with a printable PDF/X-3 document, an Illustrator (ai or eps), InDesign or QuarkXPress file on an FTP server. The contractor shall send the customer a digital proof for print approval. The latter shall check the deduction, issue the release or inform the Contractor of any changes and additions. After the data has been entered, a further digital proof is required for print approval. Once the release has been granted by the client, production can begin. Important information on the list of services and the submission of offers:Print media are generally very complex and extensive products. In order to indicate the clear production costs, exact specifications and a print run are necessary. An exact circulation quantity for future orders and call-offs can often only be specified in the concrete project. In order to be able to calculate prices for flexible print runs, we have divided the costs for the individual print products per item into fixed and variable costs. The fixed costs are incurred regardless of the quantity to be printed. These are, for example, costs for data check, prepress, plate production, machine setup, delivery, etc., The variable costs are the unit costs per 1000. These are e.g. material costs, unit costs in further processing, etc. and depending on the exact run length. Total costs = fixed costs + run length x variable costs. The standard run length is specified and calculated in the tender as St per 1 000.The prices quoted for the respective products include: a brief standard consultation/meeting of the order, the delivery of print-ready data by FHG or an agency, a softproof/digital proof produced by the contractor as a PDF-X3 file for approval for printing by the customer, handy packaging of the printed products in cartons and delivery of the printed materials free domicile. The spectrum of large-format printed matter ranges from banners made of fabric to simple DIN A2 and DIN A1 posters, from periodically published info flyers to annual reports, sales folders and invitations to tender. New print media that have not yet been entered in the service specifications will be supplemented and renegotiated if necessary during the term of the contract. After the data has been entered, a further digital proof is required for print approval. Once the release has been granted by the client, production can begin. Large-format printed materials are generally very complex and diverse products. The variety of formats and substrates plays a greater role in pricing than the actual run length. Since we cannot query the prices in the bill of quantities and later in the call-off list for every single possible product, these should be allocated to square metre prices. The square metre price of a product is graded according to the format sizes and the printing substrate. The square metre size is rounded up to the third digit after the decimal point. This becomes clear in the Excel call-off list supplied.Total costs = size of the individual product in m2 x unit price per m2 x quantityA product can also consist of several items.A possible A1 poster could consist of the following: data device per motif, proof on paper (logo or images), printing on paper up to 0.5 m2, laminate substrate with matt UV protective film up to 0.5 m2, laminate substrate on a Kapafix 5 mm plate, angle and mounting hooks per pc, easy installation on site on the FHG premises. The prices for the respective products include: a short standard consultation/meeting of the order, delivery of print-ready data by FHG or an agency, a softproof/digital proof as a PDF/X-3 file produced by the contractor for approval for printing by the Principal, handy packaging of the printed products.
