Italy - Nature reserve services

Description

The activities consist of the management services of the territory of the Reserve, as identified in the Regional Law of 29.5.1987, no. 24 and the subsequent NAP, as well as the technical management, the good management and the tourist enhancement of the Reserve. The successful tenderer must guarantee:- the surveillance and naturalistic monitoring service for the environmental protection and conservation of the territory,- the assistance to the management committee of the Zompo lo Schioppo Nature Reserve for the implementation of the activities provided for in the naturalistic plan in force,- the preparation of deeds aimed at fund raising activities and preparation of extraordinary planning aimed at the participation in community, national and regional notices, also in the modalities of proposals in associated form, for interventions aimed at the protection and conservation of the environment, the tourist development of the protected area and of the agricultural territory also present in the area of respect,- agricultural, forest and in general of the territory and rural environments falling within the reserve, in the area of respect and in the other areas identified by the NAP,- promotion of craftsmanship and traditions also through workshops,- creation of exhibition spaces, nature trails, thematic itineraries,- provision of general services for public and private bodies of any kind in the field of education and environmental training,- management of tourist and educational services, as well as the direct management of accommodation, recreational and sports facilities, within these areas,- provision of technical and commercial consulting services on organic and environmentally friendly agriculture,- provision of services for the improvement of quality and for the creation of structures for the marketing of organic and eco-compatible products and for the creation and management of multipurpose centers and for the creation of support structures to allow direct links between production and market in relation to these products,- organization and staging of events, thematic exhibitions, conferences and animation activities,- creation of informative and multimedia material.In particular, the activities to be carried out include1) surveillance of the territory through specific planned monitoring activities; 2) opening of offices, secretarial services, management of ordinary administration; 3) organization of the basic services necessary to ensure the normal use of the Reserve such as cleaning, good maintenance of the open-air structures of the Reserve, perimeter woods, paths, picnic areas; 4) maintenance of structures and support for the organization of events;5) the management of tourist services and the promotion of guided tours and the CEA; 6) the possibility to use the other structures and land belonging to the Reserve system for the start-up of activities (fish hatchery, organic crops, etc.); 7) cleaning and maintenance of the green areas, including road areas of the reserve and the areas identified in the NAP; 8) the management of the rest areas of the reserve and the ecomuseum; 9) environmental monitoring of the Zompo lo Schioppo Nature Reserve also through the implementation of protocols with different subjects. There are active monitoring protocols with the PNALM and with the network of regional reserves of Lazio that will have to be implemented by specialized personnel; 10) quarterly reporting of the activities carried out; 11) rental management of the excursion refuge called the Schioppo and the holiday home La Villa; 12) management of the wildlife area with the possibility of conversion; 13) rental management of the forest nursery. The activities referred to in points 11-13 above, must be started with different timing than the ordinary management as detailed in the tender documents.
