The Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division, Library Staff intends to procure from MLex online access to MLex Global Antitrust Asia module including coverage from Korea, Japan and around the region; MLex Global Antitrust Latin America module including expanded coverage from Mexico to Chile; MLex Global Antitrust North America; MLex EU; and MLex Global Antitrust Africa and Middle East. The Department of Justice Antitrust division requires current, up to the minute and daily, coverage of antitrust, competition developments, and law enforcement. MLex is the standard-bearer in antitrust news with particular emphasis on global coverage. The requirement is needed Division wide.
The MLex covers all aspects of antitrust price fixing investigations, damages lawsuits and new laws on the most heavily regulated industries, including Financial Services, Telecom, Media & Technology, Transport & Logistics, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Energy & Climate and Trade & Investment.
The statutory authority for the proposed procurement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1), only one responsible source. Contractors must be fully and actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) - https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. The solicitation will not be distributed on the General Services Administration website http://www.fbo.gov. This is not a formal solicitation, however, interested concerns must respond within fourteen (14) days from the date of this synopsis with written documentation, detailed data and pricing information that clearly demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either bids or proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon the written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated period of performance under any resultant purchase orders will be one (1) year. Responses must be submitted to marla.chesler@usdoj.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted.
