Description
(a) the supply of the foodstuffs necessary for the production of the meals (including snacks) and ancillary materials, as well as the products necessary for the cleaning and disinfection of the kitchens, equipment, crockery and tablecloths, refectories and related service areas. The supply concerns users and staff: - the crèches, - the municipal and state kindergartens and - the centre for the disabled listed in Annex A) to the specifications; b) the organisation and complete management of the service of production and distribution of meals in some kitchens (listed in Annex B to the specifications), consisting not only in the supply of foodstuffs and ancillary materials, in accordance with the provisions already provided for in point (a) above, but also in their storage, preparation, cooking and distribution of meals and snacks. The service includes the operations of: - cleaning and sanitizing of refectories, kitchens and adjoining rooms, - washing of kitchen equipment, crockery, pots and pans and table linen at the canteen. The contractor is responsible for the integration of the dishes, pots and pans and kitchen equipment necessary for the proper functioning of the service, as well as the routine maintenance of the plants and equipment. The meal production service concerns users and staff of the schools listed in Annex B) to the specifications. (see specifications)
