MASON/ BRICKLAYER SERVICES
This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec Region.
Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama and Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement.
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is looking for a Contractor to provide, as and when needed, skilled labor, tools and, when required, the supply, disposal and special equipment required to perform Mason/Bricklayer Journeyman and Apprentices Services. The correctional facilities identified for this Request for a Standing Offer are: Laval Complex, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines Complex, Correctional Community Centres (CCC) of the Greater Montreal, Cowansville Institution, Donnacona Institution and Marcel-Caron CCC, Drummond Institution, Joliette Institution and Laferrière CCC, La Macaza Institution and Port-Cartier Institution.
Objectives: Perform various task including inspection, maintenance, repair and masonry/ bricklaying work on the correctional institutions in the Quebec region.
Deliverables: The Contractor must perform various tasks that include, but are not limited to: demolition of load-bearing or non-bearing of masonry and concrete elements, construction of load-bearing or non-lead-bearing masonry block walls of different block sizes, various exterior masonry or brick work such as brick siding or natural stone, etc. For more information on the tasks to perform under this Standing Offer, please consult the Technical Requirements section of the technical specifications.
Term of Standing Offer: The period of the Standing Offer is from the award until August 31 st , 2022 inclusively.
