Description

Contract for the design, supply and installation of a new climate system (HVAC - Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and modification of the energy conversion system (SCE) on 380 carriages belonging to the Intercity fleet as assets for the Trenitalia Passengers Division.The new HVAC system must guarantee: high levels of performance, reliability and energy efficiency of the system as a whole, a new regulation of the internal temperature, the use of the same components for all types of vehicles on which the system will be installed, the optimization of the routes of the air ducts, the adaptation of the affected part of the MV panel and its wiring, the introduction of a device for regulating the external air and the use of new refrigerant gases in accordance with the new European regulation F-Gas no. 517/2014.The new plant to ensure the power supply of the new HVAC must: ensure the 380 V power supply dedicated only to the HVAC; adapt if necessary the CVS currently installed on the carriages, the interfaces with the affected part of the MV and its wiring and everything else necessary for the proper functioning of the system and implement the logic of management in normal and degraded mode.the performance must be carried out at the plants of Trenitalia IMC Reggio Calabria, Lecce, Bari and OMC Santa Maria la Bruna, Verona, Voghera.The contract also provides for the following options: a) Exploitation of the same service, as described above, on additional Intercity coaches, up to a number of 265. b) Corrective and scheduled maintenance service of the first level of the modified parts, to be carried out at the Customer's facilities, for a minimum duration of 5 (five) consecutive years with the possibility of five-year renewal up to a maximum of a further 10 (ten) years.
