Description

This public tender concerns an equipment for the research and development of advanced metal electrodes for (green) hydrogen gas electrolysis; more specifically, physical vapor deposition (PVD) equipment is required for the fabrication of the base substrate on which further (wet-chemical) processing can be performed. Only PVD processing (and not wet-chemical processing) is included in this tender. The equipment must be compatible with millimeter-thin substrates with an area of up to 1000 cm2; only single substrate processing is considered, not batch processing. In addition to the research and development of the electrodes, the equipment must allow us to verify the industrial scalability of the production process. This requires a certain flexibility of the equipment, but also a high degree of process control and monitoring to demonstrate/assess the stability of the process.
