Description

The LZN is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the direct Lower Saxony state administration (see § 2 of the LZN's operating instructions). With the approval of its supervisory authority, the LZN can take on further tasks for public-law consumers within and outside the Lower Saxony state administration as well as for private-law companies wholly owned by the public sector (cf. § 3 of the LZN's operating instructions) In this area of responsibility, the LZN issues a framework agreement (§ 21 VgV) for the supply of household goods and home textiles for the direct state authorities of the state of Lower Saxony including the Lower Saxony islands.
