Brief introduction for this assignment.EBN IM has modernized part of the platforms in 2020 and 2021 with the addition of a Talend platform (ELT and Data Catalog), an upgrade of the ERSI Gis platform and recently the addition of Snowflake on our Microsoft Azure environment. The dashboard generating platforms Business Objects and Spotfire still fit into the EBN architecture and will also be deployed in the near future. To make the best use of the available technology, the IM department needs a Dev/Ops partner for BI/DWH, but also an advisor on platform development. A partner with business contacts with the software developers of the IT platforms chosen by EBN. We also expect to be confronted with AI and ML in the future from our partners (with our data) or to have to develop it ourselves

We implement parts of the climate and energy policy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.Until 2016, we focused mainly on the exploration, extraction and storage of gas and oil. Now we are one of the driving forces behind the energy transition in the Netherlands. EBN has in-depth knowledge of the Dutch subsurface and plays a key role in connecting private and public parties in the energy sector. Collaboration is of great importance in realizing the climate ambitions.ParticipationsEBN is involved as a non-operating partner in almost all oil and gas projects in the Netherlands. Our interest in these activities varies from 40 percent to 50 percent.
