Funk is the content network of ARD and ZDF with content for the target groups of 14- to 29-year-olds. funk produces formats for different people with different interests. Together with all broadcasters, partners from the web video industry and young, talented media makers, funk works on content that is worth knowing, critical, funny, entertaining and captivating. funk is at home in social networks. Formats such as "Kliemannsland", "Game Two" and "Y-Kollektiv" are published directly on third-party platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat or Instagram as well as in our native apps, the media libraries of ARD & ZDF and on funk. net. For the delivery and publication of the video content, a hosted system is to be procured that fulfills the services described below and can be made available to funk in a short time and fully operational.
The video solution to be procured must be procured with services such as monitoring and troubleshooting of the system functions, data backup and restoration, installation of software updates. The main services put out to tender in this tendering procedure are:- Conclusion of a service contract for a period of 24 months for the provision and operation of a video solution and services for the implementation of the system to be procured Operation of a video solution in accordance with the requirements of the technical service description;- Migration from 1.11.2020.Optional additional services are:- Extension of the service contract by 12 to 36 months;- Extension of the service contract by a further 12 to 48 months;- If necessary, a further 12 to 48 months for the provision and operation of a video solution;- Migration from 1.11.2020.Optional additional services are The following points are important for the customer for this project, in the order shown:- Technical performance features of the video solution offered;- Low effort (external and collaborative services) for the implementation of the video solution offered;- The video solution should preferably be hosted in the Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud;- The underlying schedules are listed in Chapter 2.2.The optional additional services listed above and in the respective performance sheets can be called up by the customer at the time of ordering. The Contractor (CO) has no claim to the use of the additional services.a contract with an initial term of 24 months and 2 extension options of 12 months each (max. term 48 months) is concluded. The provision of services in regular operation shall take place immediately after implementation and acceptance, but no later than 1.3.2021. Any migration of the current system and existing content should start on 1.11.2020 and must be completed by the end of February 2021.
