Provision and operation of a CDE for BIM projects
The client intends to bring together data from construction projects in the areas of transport infrastructure and building construction in the future in a central communication hub, the cloud-based Common Data Environment (CDE). This primarily concerns projects that are to be planned using the BIM methodology. The Mobility department is responsible for procurement. In the coming years, the Mobility department will initiate a large number of BIM projects in the transportation infrastructure (expansion and modernization projects for subway stations, streetcar stops, new construction of new line sections, new construction and expansion of depots and parking facilities) and handle them via the CDE. The CDE will also be available for building construction projects such as the BIM pilot of the Real Estate department and conventionally planned transport infrastructure projects.
