Description

Dublin City Council is inviting tender submissions from market operators for the management of all three markets. The contract will be for a 1year period commencing in November 2019, with an option to extend up to a maximum of 2 further years.
The Markets Manager will manage all 3 markets on behalf of Dublin City Council, and will be single point of contact for the traders. The Markets Manager will use the markets to enhance the public amenities at each location and take all necessary steps to increase the number of traders at any market not at full capacity. The Markets Manager will meet with a representative of Dublin City Council on a bi-monthly basis or as otherwise agreed. The Markets Manager will have at least 1 nominated representative on site each trading Saturday for the duration of the market and with the required skills/experience to manage issues as they arise.
The Markets Manager will meet directly all operating costs and expenses involved in the provision and management of the markets. Details of the three markets are listed below.
• Temple Bar Food Market on Meeting House Square and Curved Street
• Temple Bar Book Market on Temple Bar Square
• The Designer Mart on Cow’s Lane.
