Awarding of the insurance coverage service for the following risks:- lot 1: risks deriving from professional liability towards third parties due to and during the performance of professional activities,- lot 2: risks of accidents occurring during the performance of professional activities.The insurance coverage is in favour of outpatient doctors, specialists and general practitioners, other healthcare professionals (biologists, chemists and psychologists), non-medical healthcare personnel (technicians and nurses) and trustee general practitioners who operate, under a contractual relationship with the Ministry of Health, in SASN outpatient clinics, to provide healthcare and medico-legal assistance to seafaring, maritime and civil aviation personnel.
The guarantees provided by the policy are effective for the risks of professional liability towards third parties arising under the law to the insured in relation to the exercise of their professional activities, consisting of assistance to seafaring, maritime and civil aviation personnel, including professional visits at airports or on board ships at sea, in port or roadstead, to visit and possibly accompany sick patients to hospital or health facilities in cases where the pathophysiological conditions of the same require it.The insurance cover also includes all the accessory, complementary, connected and related activities, preliminary and consequent to the main ones, however and wherever carried out and implemented with any means deemed useful or necessary, with no exclusions or exceptions. The insurance policy covers personnel belonging to the following categories:a) category A - general practitioners, outpatient specialists - biologists, chemists, psychologists;b) category B - radiology technicians, laboratory technicians, physiotherapists - nurses;c) category c - fiduciary doctors. The guarantees provided by the policy shall operate to protect the risk of injury suffered by the insured parties in the exercise of their professional activities, within the scope of a contractual relationship with the policyholder, consisting of assistance to seafaring, maritime and civil aviation personnel, including professional visits at airports or on board ships at sea, in port or roadstead, to visit and, if necessary, accompany sick persons to hospital or health facilities in cases where their physiopathological conditions so require.The insurance also includes all accessory, complementary, connected and related activities, preliminary and consequent to the main activities, however and wherever carried out and implemented by any means deemed useful or necessary, with no exclusions or exceptions.The insurance covers medical personnel in the following categories: a) category A - general practitioners, outpatient specialists - biologists, chemists, psychologists; b) category B - radiology technicians, laboratory technicians, physiotherapists - nurses; c) category C - fiduciary, domiciliary and control doctors.
