Description
The city of Gevelsberg intends to build a new main fire station on a site between Hagener Straße and the railway, which is bordered by Mühlenstraße, with an affiliated voluntary fire brigade and youth and children's fire brigade area. The planned fire station building has a longitudinal extension of approx. 140 m and is partly 3-storey in the general areas and 2-storey in the parking areas for the fire engines. A total of 18 parking halls for fire-fighting vehicles will be constructed, including the ancillary rooms. The general area of the fire station will be provided with a basement for the technical installations. A 16 m high fire drill tower is planned at the south-east corner of the fire brigade building. The north-eastern boundary of the building parts will be provided by the 2-storey new rescue station. The subject of the construction contract to be awarded is the electrical installation work for the construction project described above.
