Printing and delivery will be invoiced by SÉAO, and the cost of acquiring plans and specifications is non-refundable.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Centre de services scolaire des Grandes-Seigneuries is looking for a company that can provide the expertise, manpower, tools and equipment required to carry out fire extinguisher and hose inspection services. This call for tenders includes annual inspections, hydrostatic testing, work on fire extinguishers, hoses and cabinets, and the supply of new or replacement extinguishers, where necessary, to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
Annual inspections of all ORGANISME PUBLIC establishments must be carried out between the beginning of July and August 23.
DURATION OF CONTRACT
The contract resulting from this call for tenders will have a duration of one (1) year with two (2) annual renewal options.
EQUIVALENCE PROPOSAL
Any request for equivalence must be sent to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by e-mail to approvisionnement@cssdgs.gouv.qc.ca no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 10, 2024. The request must be sufficiently documented for the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION to be able to evaluate it. Only equivalences that have been authorized by Addenda will be considered by the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION when reviewing the compliance of Submissions. Any decision as to equivalence is at the sole discretion of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.
BID SECURITY
No bid security is required.
PERFORMANCE BOND
No performance bond is required.
MODIFICATIONS RELATED TO THE PANDEMIC CONTEXT - CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
By submitting its bid during the COVID-19 period, the TENDER is aware of the government measures and economic context in effect on the day of submission. It will therefore not be possible for it to invoke these measures as a case of force majeure in order to avoid its obligations.
However, it is possible that additional governmental measures or new unforeseeable events may occur after the contract has been awarded, and thus affect the completion deadlines.
In such a case, the PUBLIC BODY and the SERVICE PROVIDER will negotiate in good faith.
RECEIPT OF BIDS
Bids will be received electronically by SEAO or addressed to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION when submitted on paper at 1325, rue Industrielle, La Prairie (Québec) J5R 2E4, no later than 10:00 a.m., local time,
on June 20, 2024.
As of June 1, 2019, the transmission of the same bid electronically and on paper constitutes the filing of multiple bids and will result in the automatic rejection of all bids so filed. If a SUBMITTER wishes to submit a bid electronically, it must send a single bid via the SEAO. This may no longer be accompanied by a paper bid, on pain of automatic rejection.
OPENING OF BIDS
Bids shall be opened publicly, in the presence of a witness, at the place indicated above, immediately after the time and date set for receipt of Bids. BIDDERS may attend the bid opening in person.
The PUBLIC ORGANIZATION will also broadcast the Bid opening live on the web. Instructions for attending the webcast are set out below:
