The School Administration Office of the Oder-Spree District will, by award of contract in this procurement procedure, procure a contractor for the procurement and commissioning of server and storage technology for the schools of the district.The subject of the procurement are:DellEMC Server & Storage Systems- (Licenses and) Manufacturer SupportQNAP NAS Systems- Accessories- Licenses and Manufacturer SupportAPC UPS- Accessories- Licenses and Manufacturer SupportThe goal of the School Administration Office is to establish or maintain a school IT infrastructure that forms the basis for the existing and future requirements for IT equipment and IT solutions of the schools.
The school administration office of the Oder-Spree district will win a contractor for the procurement and commissioning of server and storage technology for the schools of the district by awarding the contract in this tender procedure.The subject of the procurement are:DellEMC server & storage systems- (licenses and) manufacturer supportQNAP NAS systems- accessories- licenses and manufacturer supportAPC UPS- accessories- licenses and manufacturer supportThe aim of the school administration office is to establish and maintain a school IT infrastructure that forms the basis for the existing and future IT equipment and IT solutions of the schools. The IT systems of the schools of the administrative district Oder-Spree are administered by three administrators, who also have to represent each other. This is only possible in an efficient form because the IT system landscape is highly standardized and is based on systems from the above-mentioned manufacturers in the server and storage area. In order to keep the initial installation, coordination and training efforts as well as the subsequent administration and support efforts for the employees as low as possible and to maintain technical compatibility with the existing administration and management environment, a "one-vendor strategy" is implemented for each device category for the systems to be newly procured for the expansion or renewal of the infrastructure. This means that all systems offered per category must come from the respective specified manufacturer and be offered as required.
