Description

The Deployment of a National Single Access Point and Intelligent Transportation Systems — which includes inter alia the:

(i) design and deployment of TIER III or higher data centres;
(ii) transfer and integration of all existing systems;
(iii) design and deployment of a System and Data Backup Site;
(iv) upgrade of the facilities at the existing PWD Control Centre;
(v) the physical enhancement of the existing PWD Control Centre;
(vi) enhance traffic monitoring of the TEN-T road network and the urban road network of Nicosia;
(vii) integration of ITS Systems, (i) implementation of an Open Data Portal;
(viii) implementation of a Data Analytics Platform;
(ix) implementation of a Traffic Strategy Manager.
Other requirements: (ii) the above ITS systems shall be developed and integrated as a 3 level logical and physical open architecture. (iii) the evaluation of impact to traffic the above described ITS deployments have on their completion.
