Description
The laser safety officer supports the client in accordance with OStrV 1. in carrying out the risk assessment in accordance with § 3, 2. in carrying out the necessary protective measures in accordance with § 7 and 3. in monitoring the safe operation of lasers in accordance with sentence 1 He creates a holistic overview of the inventory of all lasers (equipment) used at the HZB and in the course of this creates a cadastre with essential information/ characteristic values about the laser, location, type of use, technical data, etc. The laser safety officer is responsible for the safety of the laser equipment.For the initial need for support, the HZB appoints a laser safety officer with an initial scope of 700 hours per year (estimated value) with a weekly presence of, for example, 2x approx. 7 hours on two days of the week, in each case in the time from 8:00 to 15:00.
