GMH | Gebäudemanagement Hamburg GmbH is a municipal company that provides construction, operation and management services for over 50 general education schools in the south of Hamburg (Wilhelmsburg and Harburg) as well as for university and municipal buildings.

A new national base (BSP) and state base (LSP) for field hockey is to be built at the Hemmingstedter Weg 140 municipal sports facility in the Altona district. For this purpose, two existing natural grass pitches will be converted into a large field hockey pitch (1st construction phase) and a small field hockey pitch. Both pitches will be equipped with floodlights and an irrigation system.

The small pitch will be covered by a cold-air hall without walls (2nd construction phase) so that it can be used in winter.

In addition, an approx. 830 m² (HGF) functional building with changing rooms, sanitary facilities, as well as fitness, seminar and office rooms will be built (3rd construction phase).
