Description

We are looking for a contractor who provides the following services:1.1) Consulting and development of concepts for continuous technical and content development in close cooperation with the editorial staff and the client;1.2) Consulting and development of concepts for increasing the number of users, optimizing the useful life and consulting on the use of social media and SEO to achieve these goals.In detail, the following services are to be provided:a) Weekly meetings with the editorial staff to coordinate the strategy, content and discussion of the current status, to check the content efficiency in the content management system;b) Weekly coordination and consultation on technical issues related to the social media activities of the portal;c) Monthly traffic analysis with the client.All meetings take place in Düsseldorf.1.3)Support for:a) External institutions that maintain data in the cultural expert;b) External partners that use their own technical connection to the cultural expert.1.3. a) and b) must provide the following services:Competent and service-oriented content and technical advice for partner access and technological questions in German language.Support with data input (automated input and output), maintenance of marketing measures, coordination of marketing partners with regard to the setting of images, texts, videos, adoption of size, format and text length adaptation to the technical and aesthetic requirements of the portal.1.4) Programming of the internet portal and transfer of the previous contents. The contractor takes over the current programming, the current contents as well as the existing page structure and the structures of the portal. The portal is based on Ruby on Rails and Angular JS. It is not a standard CMS but a complete in-house development in Ruby on Rails. The application, source codes, databases including database structures and editorial content will be made available to the future contractor and can be used by him;1.5) Continuous technical development of the portal:This is a permanent position with monthly expenditure. As before, the functionality and appearance of the portal will be continuously improved in order to do justice to changes in user behaviour and feedback from partners and users. A monthly quota of 14 MT/month is to be planned for further development. The concepts for these further developments are worked out in the monthly status meetings (see 1.1) and the contractor provides the following services:Minimum requirements: Server (8 GB Ram, 4 x 146 GB harddisc, 15 000 GB traffic, 100 MBit/s connection), server management, firewall, monitoring of the server and the website, 24/7 hardware component exchange, daily backups of all files, assumption of all related costs including licence fees if applicable;1.6) Technical SupportHosting: backups, monitoring of the server and its services. Permanent provision of a contact person for advice on technical problems. Guaranteed availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week;1.7) Further development of the recommendation mechanisms of the portal (content sharing), which results in Word of Mouth for the portal and the named organisers or institutions.2) All services must be provided in the German language.2) Further details of the services to be provided can be found in the document "Service Description and Special Award Conditions" as part of the award documents.
