Description

The subject of the contract is forest management services as defined in Article 6, paragraph 1, item. 1 of the Forest Act of September 28, 1991 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 672, as amended - the "Forest Act"), covering silviculture and forest protection, timber harvesting and skidding, as well as work in the Nursery Farm and fire protection system maintenance to be performed in the Rudy Raciborskie Forest District in 2023. The material scope of the subject matter of the contract includes the total amount of works in the field of silviculture and forest protection, harvesting and skidding, as well as works in the Nursery Farm and in the field of operation of the fire protection system, resulting from Appendix No. 2 to the SWZ.Communication in the proceedings shall be carried out electronically via the JOSEPHINE platform and e-mail: rudy@katowice.lasy.gov.pl Detailed information on communication in the proceedings is contained in para. 10 SWZ.
The material scope of the subject matter of the contract includes the total quantities of work in the field of silviculture and forest protection, logging and skidding resulting from Appendix No. 2 to the SWZ, which consists of:Appendix No. 2.1. planned size of work; Appendix No. 2.2. detailed size of work by. groups of activities, actions and locationsAppendix no. 2.3. characteristics of forestry in terms of timber harvesting;Appendix no. 2.4. sorting arrangement of timber harvesting;Appendix no. 2.5. summary of skidding distances and conditionsAppendix no. 2.6. summary of items with additional difficulties in terms of skidding and harvestingAppendix no. 2.7 not applicableAppendix no. 2.8 information on optimum technology for timber harvesting;Appendix no. 2.9 information on the nature of silviculture (weed removal zones)Appendix no. 2.10 not applicableThe material ranges summarized in appendix 2 to the SWZ are estimates.Description of the standard of performance of forestry work is contained in appendix no. 3 to the SWZ.The Contractor may entrust the execution of elements (parts) of the subject matter of the contract to subcontractors, subject to the obligation under art. 121 of the Public Procurement Law to independently perform the key part of the contract, which is the supervision, organization and coordination of the work performed. If the Contractor intends to execute the subject matter of the order with the participation of subcontractors, he shall be obliged to indicate in his Offer: the parts of the order (material scopes) whose execution he intends to entrust to subcontractors, and the names of the subcontractors' companies, if they are already known. Such indication shall be included in the Bid. If subcontracting is not indicated in the Bid, the Contractor will be allowed to introduce subcontractors only under the terms of the contract.The Contracting Authority, in accordance with Article 95 of the Public Procurement Law, requires the employment by the Contractor and all Subcontractors on the basis of an employment contract of persons performing activities included in the subject of the contract consisting in the harvesting and skidding of timber, if the performance of these activities involves work as specified in Article 22 § 1 of the Act of June 26, 1974. - Labor Code. The same requirement applies to persons directed to supervise and coordinate the work, who must be employed directly by the Contractor.Descriptions of the activity codes describing the individual forestry works (activities) included in the subject of the contract are described in Appendix No. 3 to the SWZ.Description of the rules of procedure for the acceptance of forestry works is included in Appendix No. 3 to the SWZ.The contract will be implemented from the date of conclusion of the contract until 31.12.2023.
