The Contractor (CO) is 100% responsible for the achievement of Output III: the establishment of a transparency framework based on international standards and guidelines enables the monitoring of progress in mitigation and adaptation measures (MRV and M&E) at national and sub-national level and sound reporting by MINAM to the UNFCCC Secretariat.The CO is fully responsible for the achievement of the Outcome Indicator 0.3.Outcome Indicator 0.3: As of 12/2023, the Ministry of Environment reports to the UNFCCC Secretariat with reference to information from the National Transparency Framework The CO contributes to the indicators and activities of Output I and II.Output I Promotion of NDC Implementation 20 %Indicator I.1By 12/2023, the Ministry of Environment has a National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and a Low Carbon Development Strategy (LEDS), which will update and operationalise the mitigation and adaptation measures foreseen in the NDCs Output II Institutionalisation 10 %Indicator II.1Activity A.II.2: Technical and organisational support to Minam in designing a coordination mechanism for the NDC process in Peru, - Activity A.II.3: Technical and organisational support to Minam in designing a coordination mechanism for the NDC process in PeruAdvice to Minam in its mediating and supporting role to achieve the necessary institutional arrangements for a far-sighted implementation of NDCs at national and sub-national level,- Activity A.II.6: Systematisation of knowledge and experience from:- Preparation and implementation of the transparency framework, taking into account the increase in the level of ambition (Output 3).the contractor (CO) is 100 % responsible for the achievement of Output III.Output III National Transparency Framework 70 %Indicator III.1): by 12/2022, 2 sectoral ministries and 2 regional governments have reported their progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing adaptation capacities to the Ministry of Environment in accordance with its requirements.indicator III.2): by 12/2023, a transparency framework based on international standards for monitoring and reporting mitigation and adaptation measures in the Peruvian NDCs is operational.for detailed activities, please see service description.
