Description
The service mainly comprises consulting services regarding the revitalisation of station reception buildings and the construction of bike-and-ride and park-and-ride facilities in station environments.
Since June 2018, the Station Competence Centre has been supporting the reactivation of station buildings - as part of our historic cultural assets - and is to initiate subsequent use for unused station buildings at operated regional passenger transport stations. The main tasks of the Competence Centre are:- to establish contact with potential stakeholders (e.g. railway infrastructure companies, owners, exploitation companies, Federal Railway Authority, planning offices, local authorities and contact persons in their administrations as well as the local economy) - providing an overview of funding opportunities - pointing out possible uses: Building concepts, space concepts, operation as well as overview of best practices in the state of Brandenburg and other regions - Information and technical support on land acquisition, building law and exemption procedures for railway areas - Support for implementation (including acquisition of subsidies, coordination with authorities) This is also intended to put the remaining unused reception buildings to a new use, and/or Since station buildings are often only one component in the development of the entire station environment, especially in those cases in which the municipalities themselves are the owners of the real estate, the VBB should in future also be increasingly active in an advisory capacity in the area of forecourt planning - especially in the area of bike-and-ride and park-and-ride facilities. For this purpose, funding was acquired from the BMVI for a project initially limited to three years. Tasks to be performed are:- Advice on types of facilities, choice of location, access systems and cost structures - Providing an overview of funding opportunities - Support in carrying out the calculation of demand specified by the State of Brandenburg - Support in acquiring suitable land The contractor is to provide technical advice to the VBB in carrying out these tasks. If necessary, also by elaborating additional concepts and studies.individual orders estimated quantity for four years: 16 pcs.individual orders binding maximum quantity for four years: 32 pcs.
