Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement to modify the existing Fence Detection System, Glass Break Detectors and Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) installed at the Nova Institution.
Nova Institution is a facility located in Truro, Nova Scotia. Work must be accomplished with minimum disruption to the daily operation and security of the institution. To satisfy this requirement, the existing system must remain operational to ensure the integrity of the security systems.
The work includes the supply and installation as described in the Statement of Technical Requirements (STR).
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on October 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Nova Institution, Truro, Nova Scotia. Interested Bidders shall meet at the main entrance of the Nova Institution, 180 James St., Truro, Nova Scotia, B2N 6R8. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form at the site visit.
The Bidder must have at least one attendee at the site visit (Maximum 2). All attendees must have at least one form of government issued ID (Drivers license, Passport, etc.) available upon request.
The work is requested to be completed within 20 weeks after contract award.
