Project Title: FAI/ MSLETB Player Development Programme 2019

Project Details
Submissions are sought from service providers to tender for the provision of tutors to facilitate the quality delivery of the QQI Level 5 Major Award in Sport, Recreation & Exercise Studies 5M5146 and the ITEC RQF Level 2 (EQF Level 3) Certificate in Fitness Instruction at a number of Local Training Initiatives (LTIs) facilitated by the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and Mayo Sligo & Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB). The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Friday 19th July 2019.

• Communications QQI Level 5 Component 5N0690
• Work Experience QQI Level 5 Component 5N1356
• Sports Anatomy & Physiology QQI Level 5 Component 5N4648
• Team Working QQI Level 5 Component 5N1367
• Personal Effectiveness* QQI Level 5 Component 5N1390
• Nutrition QQI Level 5 Component 5N2006
• ITEC RQF Level 2 (EQF Level 3) Certificate in Fitness Instruction, Gym based Exercise.

Locations
The LTI operates at the Milebush Park Football Centre in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

Background and Strategic Context
The FAI/MSLETB Player Development Programme is a Local Training Initiative that provides a unique blend of educational and football development for talented young footballers who are currently unemployed or have left the education system. The programme enables learners to develop a potential career in football or the sports and leisure industry.
