Description

On Friedrich-List-Platz 2 in 01069 Dresden is the existing building, which was built in the 1990s and is designed as a polygonal administrative building. The basic geometry is an elongated rectangle, which measures approximately 125m in east-west orientation and 79m in north-south orientation at the widest points. The building is divided by three interior courtyards, with four bays in the north-south direction and two bays in the east-west direction enclosing them.The building staggers from west to east (five stories to seven stories). The first courtyard serves as an atrium for the 1st to 6th floors and is roofed over the 6th floor. The other two courtyards are not roofed and are greened on the first floor roof (east to west: courtyard 1 and courtyard 2). Distributed over all floors, the building has a gross area of approximately 35,142m².
