The purpose of this RFI is to socialize the attached information presented by the AF Installation
& Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), Facilities Operations Enterprise Manager on 15 August
2019 at the 2019 Society for American Military Engineers (SAME), San Antonio Post, Small
Business Market Research Fair. Currently the USAF has 19 active duty, contiguous United
States (CONUS) bases receiving varying levels (ref. slides 3 & 4) of support services by a BOS
contract (ref. slide 6). The 338th Specialized Contracting Squadron (SCONS) currently provides
acquisition services for the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) BOS Program. In
coordination with, and support of AFIMSC, the 338 SCONS is contemplating the development
of an AF-level, MAC vehicle for all active duty, CONUS, BOS bases. The 338 SCONS and
AFIMSC seek industry feedback on a future/potential acquisition strategy that includes a MAC
for AF BOS requirements.
