Description
A broad majority of the Danish parliamentary parties entered the 'Climate Agreement June 2022' on June 25th 2022. In this, it has been decided to enable the development of at least another 4 GW of offshore wind before the end of 2030 and to initiate the feasibility studies for all known attractive and fine-screened offshore wind areas. The study areas are located in Danish waters (North Sea, Kattegat and western Baltic).The current tender concerns consultancy services for undertaking offshore surveys of birds, bats and marine mammals in the study areas. The surveys must be conducted over twelve (12) months, fol-lowed by data analysis and reporting of the results.
The Lot 1 concerns the surveys of birds, bats and marine mammals in an area of the Danish North Sea, called North Sea I. The surveys must be conducted over twelve (12) months, followed by data analysis and reporting of the results.Following the 'Climate Agreement June 2022' it has been decided to undertake offshore surveys of birds, bats and marine mammals in the study area, North Sea I, located in the Danish North Sea, off the coast of central Jutland. The surveys must be conducted over twelve (12) months (February 2023 – January 2024), followed by data analysis and reporting of the results. The results will be used as an important input to the future environmental impact assessments for the specific offshore wind farms in the area. The Lot 2 concerns the surveys of birds, bats and marine mammals in three (3) areas of Danish waters. Two of the areas are located in Kattegat (Kattegat II and Hessleø Syd) and the third area is located in western Baltic Sea (Kriegers Flak II) I.
