Description
The Procurement Section of the Federal Customs Administration has been asked to issue a new call for tenders for the procurement of laser engraving systems for the control of precious metals (EMR), which engrave official national and international certification marks, as well as inscriptions and numbers on precious metal objects. Finished objects generally have a very polished surface. The tabletop devices requested must allow unique pieces of the jewellery industry and small series to be engraved economically and efficiently. The engraving (height 0.8 mm) should then be able to verify the quality characteristics by means of an integrated optical system. 12 laser engraving systems are to be replaced between 2020 and 2028. In addition, 3 laser engraving systems may be required to cover all emerging needs.
