Description
The Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) would like to procure the replacement of flue gas pipes from the gas turbine GE LM2500 on Nansen class frigates.The procurement includes engineering/design, production, disassembly of existing pipes with a diffusor and I.R.S.S. nozzle and assembly of a new pipe with a diffusor and reassembly of I.R.S.S. on 1 (one) vessel.NDLO will have an option to replace flue gas pipes from gas turbines on a further 3 (three) vessels.Due to the Norwegian Armed Forces' pattern of operation with a high number of cycles, the new system will be required to have so-called ‘cold-casing’ technology.
