Description

Forschungszentrum Jülich is planning to award a framework agreement for the service of carrying out orienting, initial technical investigations (OTE) for all buildings before 1995 with suspected pollutants, including the control areas of the buildings at Forschungszentrum Jülich.Focus of services 3 contractors are sought for the same scope of services for all specialist planning services of the pollutant investigation, as well as a separate lot with the focus of sampling within controlled areas.The focus of the activity is on planning for new buildings, conversions and refurbishments during ongoing use.Type of services The services to be provided are services of pollutant analysis/consulting/expert opinions. The services to be rendered are services for pollutant analysis/consulting/expert opinions on various buildings and the associated structural facilities.Rights of Use The Principal shall provide the Contractor with documents exclusively for the performance of the commissioned services. Any other use of the documents for own or third party purposes shall be prohibited to the Contractor. The documents may only be passed on to third parties with the written consent of the Client. The Contractor shall transfer to the Client the exclusive rights of use to the work results. Publication or use for teaching purposes by the Contractor is only possible with the written consent of the Client. The Client undertakes to use the submitted documents confidentially and exclusively for the purpose of evaluating the offer. There is no right to the return of the submitted documents.

Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH conducts research into comprehensive solutions for the major challenges facing society in the fields of energy and the environment as well as information and the brain. The total area of the central site covers approx. 2 km².The scientific and technical requirements shape the infrastructure of the site and the approx. 240 buildings and structures with 1.4 million m³ of enclosed space.The scientific infrastructure includes laboratory buildings for chemical and physical laboratories, buildings for electronics and general technology, for a computer center and various large-scale equipment.More information can be obtained at www.fz-juelich.de.Location, site and use Forschungszentrum Jülich is located in the south-west of the city of Jülich in North Rhine-Westphalia and is divided into two separate operational sites:- the main site, the so-called campus (area approx. 1.7 km²) and- the so-called BAW site with the central warehouse and the central vocational training facility (area approx. 0.1 km²)The scientific and technical requirements characterize the infrastructure of the site as well as the approx. 242 main and 78 ancillary buildings with approx. 354,000 m² net room area (NRF) in 13,060 rooms (The data include the campus and BAW site as well as the guest house of the Research Center in Jülich). The building stock includes office buildings, laboratory buildings with chemical and physical laboratories as well as workshop buildings and experiment halls, buildings for computer centers and various large-scale equipment, a lecture hall and library building as well as a canteen building Building age and year of construction The building age of the building stock can be described as heterogeneous and ranges from 100 years on the BAW site (buildings dating back to 1919) to buildings from the founding period to currently completed buildings.5Department of Planning and Construction The department of Planning and Construction (B) is responsible for the management of building stock and modernization, project management, technical building equipment and documentation.
