Description

The assignment includes the electrical engineering works for a new indoor swimming pool to be built with communal/support facilities, with an optional new ice hall with lettable spaces. The assignment will be carried out during the design phase on the basis of DNR 2011. During the implementation phase based on UAV 2012, the electrical engineering installer will provide advice on the feasibility and planning of the design as part of a construction team. Once the final credit has been determined by the city council in the spring of 2021, the contract will be signed and the implementation phase can begin. The aim of the municipality of Leiden with this project is as follows: A new sustainable (both functional and energetic) indoor swimming pool with an optional ice hall at Sportpark De Vliet that can facilitate the sports practice and sports experience of the (top) athletes, clubs, visitors and the municipality of Leiden in the region for the coming decades.
The project consists of the construction of a new indoor swimming pool with communal/support facilities with an optional ice hall and rentable spaces under the ice hall. As a combined building the project comprises a gross floor area of 16,300 m2 including technical areas, divided as follows:1. indoor swimming pool (approx. 3 800 m2 GLA):a) swimming pool 35.0 x 25.0 x 2.5 m; - water polo matches at (inter)national top sports level; - short-course swimming competitions (25-metre competitions) at national level; - instruction swimming, target group swimming, recreational swimming, underwater hockey; b) stand capacity 370 fixed seats and VIP platform; c) changing rooms, storerooms and technical areas; 2. communal/support facilities (approx. 1,200 m2 GLA), such as:a) entrance with reception hall;b) supporting catering;c) club rooms, meeting rooms and multifunctional areas;d) staff and customer facilities;e) shop;f) storerooms and technology;3. (b) ice floor 60 x 30 m for ice hockey, shorttrack and art riding; (c) ice floor 45 x 20 m for recreational curling and scribbling for young people; (d) stand capacity: roundabout 150 fixed seats and 30x60 ice floor 300 fixed seats; (e) changing rooms, storerooms and technical equipment;4. (e) changing rooms, storerooms and engineering;4. rentable spaces underneath the ice rink (approx. 1 000 m2 GLA), hull delivery.
