Description

The Eidelstedt community centre at Alte Elbgaustr. 12 is being renovated, rebuilt and extended and the old building, which was rebuilt in a different way after the war, is being extended by a new building. The old building dates back to 1886, was enlarged in 1927 and severely damaged in the 2nd World War. Until 1951, the building was rebuilt using the old walls in an altered form. The old building has two floors and a partial basement. The outer and inner walls are made of brick masonry. The facades are equipped with WDVS. The ceiling above ground floor is a stone iron ceiling with hollow bricks and iron inlay. The ceiling above ground floor is made of reinforced concrete. The foundations are bricked. The roof structure consists of a filling to create a slight slope, polystyrene insulation and a sealing of bitumen and plastic roofing membrane. The roof was renewed in 2010. The gutters are curtained. In the old building 2 parts of the building are to be demolished, the toilet wing and the small wing on the SW side. All wooden windows will be replaced. Inside, considerable alterations are planned. The asbestos-containing floor in the rooms must be removed. In 3 corridors the old floor will be preserved. New interior walls will be made of GK. All false ceilings will be replaced by suspended ceilings. The old cellar will receive a thick coating on the outside. The new building forms a closed block with an atrium together with the old building with two wings. It has two and three storeys and a partial basement. The cellar is a WU construction. The building has a load-bearing construction of ceilings, beams, columns and walls of reinforced concrete and walls of masonry. The interior walls are made of concrete, masonry and GK. The facade is a glass facade on the ground floor, a ventilated facade with aluminium facade panels on the 1st and 2nd floors and fibre cement panels on the base and an ETICS facade on the backsides. The atrium has a glass roof above the 1st floor. The flat roof has polystyrene insulation in the slope with a sealing of bitumen roofing membranes. KS and GK walls are designed as non-load-bearing interior walls. Linoleum, tile, stone and wooden floors are used as floor coverings. Ceilings are installed as GK and wood wool panels with and without acoustic properties.
SupplyThe existing system is released, dismantled and disposed of. Lightning protection systemsThe lightning protection system on the façade of the existing building will be dismantled, stored and later reassembled for the renovation of the façade. The lightning protection system is planned for the new building in accordance with the requirements of the building permit / use as internal and external lightning protection. In addition, the old building will be equipped with a new ring earth electrode. Safety and escape route lightingThe safety lighting is supplied by decentralised battery systems on each floor. The escape signs and emergency lights will be connected to these in order to ensure a safe direction in escape routes.EDP network / telephoneFor the building, a new network cable network will be provided from the existing system for the new building (structured cabling).
