Description
The purpose is to identify agro-processors and agribusiness businesses that have the capability to utilise renewable energy technologies to enhance:
- product production
- improve business operations
- participate in capacity building initiatives and take advantage of sustainable livelihood opportunities in the south east coast communities provided by the project
The consultancy should achieve:
- detailed socio-economic profiles of the communities using a gender-sensitive approach
- evaluation and recommendation of renewable energy technologies that support existing and potential agribusiness (micro, small and medium sized) and agro-processing enterprises in the project-area communities
