Description

The Cooperative Republic of Guyana has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of the Additional Financing for Flood Risk Management Project (AF-FRMP). It intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the Supply, Delivery and Testing of Earth Moving Equipment for East Demerara Water Conservancy - AF-FRMP/NCB/01/2021.

The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply, delivery and testing of earth moving equipment for East Demerara Water Conservancy- AF-FRMP/NCB/01/2021.

This bid is conducted on a one item basis and shall be awarded to one bidder only. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded the contract will be allowed to do so, provided that the discounts are unconditional for the entire contract and are included in the Form of Bid or submitted in writing before the deadline for bid submission.

All bids and offers of discounts shall be opened and evaluated simultaneously to determine the bid or combination of bids, including discounts, offering the lowest evaluated bid/s for the purchaser. The purchaser will award the contract to the lowest evaluated bidder based on the lowest evaluated combined cost for the purchaser for the entire package and who meet all post qualification criteria for the items for which they are bidding.

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”.
