Description

The project for the introduction of a new membership and administration software for the pension scheme of the members of the state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia, Brandenburg and Baden-Württemberg pursues the following objectives:- Elimination of paper files;- Optimization of processes;- More efficient use of staff through digital files and spatial independence in processing procedures;- Establishment and connection of a professional member portal;- Possibility of own pension calculations, especially for voluntary contributions;- Professional pension information at the middle and end of election periods;- Fast transmission of pension notices;- Decentralized and secure access to member data.New software is to be procured for the pension scheme for members of the state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia, Brandenburg and Baden-Württemberg. A cloud or hosting solution equipped with the currently common security certificates is planned, which will allow easy access from the state parliament administrations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Brandenburg and Baden-Württemberg. The involvement of the 3 state parliament IT management is limited to the provision of network access to the cloud or hosting solution. A document management system is to be integrated in order to be able to implement the e-file for all business transactions, and a member portal is to be set up.
