This is a sources sought NOTICE only. This notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government.

The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses, or HUBZone small businesses.
Responses to this notice will be used for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research.
This procurement will be advertised under North American Classification Industry Code 236220. The small business size standard for NAICS code 236220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors is $36.5M.
Project Description and Approach
The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for design, required labor and material supply, replacement, and improvement of the chiller that was installed in 1962 and is not operational located at C.F Haynsworth FB-CT, 300 East washington Street, Greenville South Carolina 29601.
The work shall include but is not limited to; General Construction, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical.
The Disclosure of the magnitude of construction for this project is between Between $250,000 and $500,000
Site Visit: Tentatively Scheduled for Mid July 2019
Responses
To be considered the offeror must be able to demonstrate successful completion of similar projects in scope and magnitude.
Interested small business vendors shall submit their capability statement electronically via e-mail, limited to 7 pages. The capability statement shall be sufficient in detail to allow the Government to determine the organization's related qualifications to perform the work. The statement shall include:
1. a) Company name.
b) DUNS number.
c) Active SAM registration confirmation.
d) Small Business Socioeconomic Category
2. A statement describing the company's interest in performing the work.
3. Capabilities and experience with federal projects similar to the project description that meet the minimum requirement as stated above. Projects should be at least 500,000 dollar.
 
4.Company contact information, Point of contact name, Phone number, Email address and web address (if available).

Responses should be emailed to jerrime.hughes@gsa.gov not later than the date specified in this sources sought notice.
Each response will be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from qualified and responsible small business concerns exist. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only and is not submitted as a proposal or quote.
All interested parties are required to respond to this sources sought announcement via email no later than 9:00 p.m. EST, 17 July 2019
