General contractor services for the remediation of hazardous substances, gutting and partial deconstruction of school buildings for the extension and general refurbishment of Edith-Stein-Realschule, Niehler Kirchweg 120, 50733 Cologne, Germany.
With its resolution of 04.04.2017 on submission no. 0864/2017, the Council of the City of Cologne commissioned the administration to carry out a Europe-wide tendering procedure with the aim of having the 15 school construction measures described in more detail at 11 school locations planned and built by total contractors or built by general contractors. The resolution and the relevant document can be viewed in the City of Cologne's Council Information System. The subject of the present award procedure is the general contractor services for the following trades for the extension and general refurbishment of the Edith-Stein-Realschule including the construction of a new triple sports hall, Niehler Kirchweg 120, 50733 Cologne:- felling work- earthwork- securing work- demolition and dismantling work including gutting and pollutant cleanup.The existing entrance building with the included janitor's apartment, the open roofed connecting corridor and the school building are to be completely demolished and the remaining existing building is to be gutted.The following gross areas are to be taken into consideration with regard to the services to be provided:- Building pollutant cleanup and gutting: approx. 10,000 m³ gross room content- Building pollutant cleanup, gutting and demolition: approx. 18,000 m³ gross room content.
