This is a pre-solicitation announcement for the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services, Ames, Iowa, 50010. An Invitation for Bid [IFB] solicitation will be issued on or about August 15, 2019 for a construction project "Demo Bldg 152 Change House" at USDA Ames, Iowa. The project will be performed at the USDA Campus located in Ames, Iowa.
The effort is 100% set aside for Small Business. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 238910, with a Small Business Size Standard of $15 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, construction range is $250,000 to $500,000. The government contemplates the award of a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, personnel, supervision and management necessary to perform the required work and complete the project. The work shall include but is not limited to: Demo Bldg 152 Change House.
