Description
The cross-border project covers the area from Bf. Rosenbach to Bf. Jesenice. The tunnel area is approx. 8,000 m. In principle, the line will be reduced from double-track to single-track. The measures in the tunnel include the cleaning of the vault, the partial removal of the existing vault renovations and the partial application of a new shotcrete shell. In addition, the entire floor will be demolished and completely rebuilt (incl. drainage and roadsides/cable troughs). The existing small and large chambers will be converted into technical rooms, including the new portal buildings.
