Germany - Construction work for school buildings

Description

The state capital Düsseldorf is planning the construction of a four-room comprehensive school at Aldekerkstraße 17-25 in Heerdt, together with a triple sports hall. The client is IPM, a 100% subsidiary of the state capital Düsseldorf. The subject of the contract to be awarded is all necessary object and specialist planning services as well as construction work for the turnkey construction of the school building including the triple sports hall and the outdoor facilities. The dismantling of the existing buildings on the site of the new building is part of the construction task and must be carried out before construction work begins. The contractor will act as a so-called total contractor on the basis of a functional performance specification according to § 7 c EU VOB/A. At the Heerdt site, the new school building and the underlying guiding idea of "School on the Move" is intended to create a place of teaching and learning that supports and promotes education for sustainable development.
The contract to be awarded covers all planning and construction work required for the turnkey construction of the comprehensive school on Aldekerkerkstrasse and the triple sports hall including the outdoor facilities.
