Description
The client intends to implement FTTB broadband connections with a next generation network (NGA network) throughout the project area of the district of Aurich.
The client intends to realize a nationwide supply of the affected, undersupplied demand points with high-performance FTTB broadband connections and the construction of next generation networks (Next Generation Access - NGA networks). The objective of the procurement is to implement a high-performance FTTB infrastructure in the affected areas as comprehensively as possible, in particular in compliance with the following requirements:- EU Guidelines on the application of State aid rules in connection with the rapid expansion of broadband (2013/C 25/01) of 26 January 2013;- Framework regulation of the Federal Republic of Germany to support the roll-out of nationwide Next Generation Access (NGA) broadband coverage. Guideline "Funding to Support the Expansion of Broadband in the Federal Republic of Germany" of October 22, 2015, as amended;- GIS Ancillary Provisions, Version 4.0;- Uniform Material Concept, Version 4.1 of April 9, 2016;- Specifications for the Dimensioning of Passive Infrastructure in the Context of the Funded Broadband Expansion (Specifications for Dimensioning), Version 3.1 of November 1, 2016;- Provisional funding decision of the Federal Government of March 21, 2017, including conditions and ancillary provisions. The funding by the State is based on the Directive on the Granting of Subsidies to Promote Broadband Expansion in Lower Saxony from the Funds of the Digital Dividend II of 16 March 2016 - RL BreitbandausbauNI). The contracting authority intends to provide the affected, undersupplied points of demand with high-performance FTTB broadband connections and to build next-generation networks (Next Generation Access - NGA networks).
