Port of Antwerp wishes to establish a new Antwerp Coordination Center (ACC) with accompanying environmental construction on a site located between the Zandvliet and Berendrecht locks. On this site, among other things, there is the currently operational ACC, located in building block A. The new ACC is a sustainable "nautical-technical" 24/7 office building with a specific character. Within the building a common work floor will be created where all chain partners, regarding the shipping guidance from and to the Antwerp port, are represented. It also houses other functions such as VTS simulators of stakeholders MDK and POA, a server room for future proof digital applications (with an availability of 99.982% according to Tier 3+) and social facilities. Various internal and external user groups - each with their own specific competencies within the nautical chain - will operate in the building. The general project description is explained in more detail in Annex B of this selection guideline. The new ACC should be operational in the summer of 2025 (phase 1). The completely renewed site, buildings and surroundings should be provisionally delivered in autumn 2025 (phase 2). In the first instance, the Contractor shall be responsible for: developing the master plan for the site, including the design and construction of the new ACC and the associated landscaping. In the second instance, the contractor shall be responsible for: performing the maintenance work during the 20-year availability period in accordance with the output specifications.The construction risk and the maintenance work shall be borne by the contractor within the provisions included in the performance specifications.
