The subject of the contract is to design and manufacture a collision-free road link between the towns of Gałków Duży and Gałków Mały on the territory of Koluszki commune, eastern Łódź district, Łódzkie province.2Within the framework of the investment, the railway infrastructure and the colliding land utilities networks should be reconstructed to the necessary extent resulting from the developed industry projects, the connection to the existing pavement in ul. Dzieci Polskich, ul. Południowa and ul. Dworcowa in Gałkowie Duży and ul. Brzezińska in Gałkowie Mały together with the connection to the existing roadway (ul. Dzieci Polskich and ul. Brzezińska). Moreover, service roads should be constructed on both sides along the county road No. 2911. The service roads in the layout of the streets will constitute only local traffic in order to reach the properties adjacent to the investment.

Dzieci Polskich, ul. Południowa and ul. Dworcowa in Gałkowie Duży and ul. Brzezińska in Gałkowie Mały together with a connection to the existing roadway (ul. Dzieci Polskich and ul. Brzezińska). In addition, service roads should be constructed on both sides along the county road No. 2911. The service roads in the layout of the streets will constitute only local traffic in order to reach the properties adjacent to the investment.2The scope of the contract includes the construction of a pedestrian-connection tunnel in place of the existing category A crossing, under railway line no. 17 in km ~18+704 (Łódź Fabryczna - Koluszki) and railway line no. 25 in km ~23+714 (Łódź Kaliska - Dębica), enabling communication of passenger cars, pedestrians and cyclists between Dzieci Polskich (Gałków Duży) and Brzezińska (Gałków Mały) streets.The construction includes reconstruction of county road No. 2911 together with connection to the existing streets, construction of a service road and pavement with a bicycle path and two staircases with a lift shaft. Additionally, a retention tank with a newly designed rainwater drainage system belonging to it is to be constructed. The Contractor will be obliged to obtain all necessary administrative decisions, arrangements and permits on behalf and for the Contracting Authority. The total length of reconstruction of district road No. 2911 is about 350 m.3It is assumed that the task will be carried out in the following stages: Stage I:a) design works; b) obtaining the necessary administrative decisions, arrangements and permits (including obtaining the decision permitting the execution of the road investment - ZRID).Stage II - preparatory works:a) preparation of regulations for temporary running of train traffic;b) suspension of traffic on particular tracks of railway line no. 17 and railway line no. 25 (in stages);c) dismantling of track surface and substructure within closed tracks (in stages);d) dismantling of existing surface of district road no. 2911 in necessary scope.Stage III - earthworks and preparation of the ground: a) construction of a palisade within the disassembled track surface and installation of sheet piling walls on access roads; b) construction of excavations with installation of struts between sheet piling walls; c) removal of collisions and protection of the network of utilities; d) construction of concrete cork.Stage IV - construction of the tunnel structure: a) installation of reinforcement of the tunnel structure together with reinforcement of staircases and lift shafts; b) formwork and concrete works; c) laying drainage and insulation of the tunnel walls; d) construction of a retention tank together with a newly designed rainwater drainage system; e) partial execution of backfill at the walls of the structure; f) gradual disassembly of sheet piling struts; g) backfilling of the tunnel and execution of transition sections; h) installation of a roofing within the staircases.Stage V - finishing works:a) cutting or dismantling sheet piling walls;b) reconstruction of substructure and railway surface;c) changes in the application of railway traffic control equipment and ERTMS / ETCS level 2;d) resumption of railway traffic;e) making the surface inside the tunnel and at the access to the tunnel with service roads;f) installation of equipment elements;g) cleaning the construction site.Stage VI - formal and legal activities:a) preparation of as-built documentation;b) obtaining permission to use;c) obtaining and transferring EC certificates and declarations.
