Description

An existing school building will be thoroughly renovated into a contemporary primary school for 300 pupils. Some outbuildings of the school will be demolished to make room for a new refectory and administrative wing, and four large playgrounds. The existing sports hall will be renovated. On the car park behind the school (Jozef Cardijnstraat side), the school will be extended with a new kindergarten for 200 pre-school children, with its own playground, exercise area and refectory.

The project includes a large part new construction and an approximately equal part renovation, in which all exterior joinery, techniques and finishes will be renewed, starting from a stripped shell base.

The aim of the project is to create a school that is ready to move into, including fixed furniture, paving and landscaping.
