Description

Increase and basic repair of the Ilmenau barrage: 1st BA: New operating building: In the course of the subsequent increase of the main dikes, the Ilmenau barrage is to be adapted to the new design water levels. The barrage has been in operation for approx. 46 years and protects the town of Winsen (Luhe) and the Ilmenau and Luheniederung from storm surges. The overall construction measure for the increase and basic overhaul of the Ilmenau Barrage consists of hydraulic steel construction measures, a new drive and control technology, adjustments to the solid construction and the flood-proof relocation of the operating building.
1st BA New construction of the operating building for the Ilmenau barrage: In order to accommodate the control station and the new control and plant technology in a flood-safe manner, the barrage will be raised and extended on the northern side of the Elbe river. The extension and the extension are single-storey. The new operating building has external dimensions of approx. L/W/H = 28.00 m/8.58 m/6.35 m. In addition to the new control station, two sanitary rooms, a kitchenette, two lounges and rooms for the control technology, building services and plant technology are planned in the new operating building. The façade is planned with facing brickwork and partial plaster surfaces. The visible components of the basement and the foundation components will be made of fair-faced concrete, analogous to the existing building.the ceiling construction will be designed as a reinforced concrete ceiling in the area of the control station and the social rooms and in the area of the plant engineering with prestressed concrete hollow slabs.the interior walls are designed as reinforced concrete prefabricated parts with a wall thickness of 12 cm, with the exception of the partition wall in the area of the building joint.the connection of the extension to the existing building will be carried out at approx. NHN +10.24 m to approx. NHN +10.50 m. Here, the existing wall heads must be partially broken off in order to integrate the new slab. On the Elbe side, the slab is designed as a cantilever slab with a tapered cross-section in order to absorb the loads from the rising external walls. On the road side, the ground level for the excavation pit will be secured with a soldier pile wall. The construction of the extension is carried out with solid reinforced concrete walls and base plate. The northern part will not have a basement. Here the wall on the Elbe side is designed as a retaining wall. The upper end of the retaining wall is formed by a base plate with beam grid. The resulting space under the extension will be filled in. The foundation of the extension is carried out with little settlement on pressed micro piles and the building on the Elbe side will have a surrounding walkway. The catwalk is a steel construction with grating. The catwalk serves as additional access or for better accessibility as well as for cleaning and maintenance purposes and as an escape route.
