Description
The noise protection wall Waldwiese in Mumpf is 150 m long and has a height of 3.0 - 4.8 m. Due to the proximity to the buildings, the upper wall elements are made of glass. The lower elements are made of concrete. The individual foundations, arranged at a standard distance of 4.0 m, are founded with micropiles of 10 m length each. The steel girders are screwed to the pile head foundations with a foot plate The noise protection wall is located in a topographically unfavourable area. In steep terrain, clamped between the railway line and the real estate, the accessibility for the construction work is very limited. It is expected that a pneumatic crane will be used to lift the elements above the properties. A continuous working scaffold is planned for the valley side.
